Britney Spears is finally back to releasing new music after what feels like forever.

Earlier this month, on the singer’s 39th birthday, she released “Swimming in the Stars,” which was originally recorded for her 2016 Glory album, but didn’t make the final cut at the time. And now Spears is releasing even more music for the deluxe reissue of Glory, and we could not be more excited!

Keep reading for all the details–and to see the scandalous pic Britney chose as cover art!

The “Toxic” singer shared the news with her Twitter followers this morning, and you’ll never guess who she decided to collaborate with for this comeback: The Backstreet Boys.

If you’re wondering why it took so long for this collaboration to happen, don’t worry, you’re definitely not alone.

Britney was more than excited to share the news, posting about it at exactly 12 AM: "'Matches' featuring my friends @backstreetboys is out now !!!! I'm so excited to hear what you think about our song together."

The boy band seemed just as happy about the collaboration.

"What a GLORIOUS day it is ... we've been asked about the possibility of a collab like this for the past 20 years and today is the day!! #BritneyXBackstreet is finally here!" the band tweeted.

Fans were thrilled with the news.

One responded, "QUEEN OF POP WE'LL BE SUPPORTING."

Another tweeted, "A BOP!!!! I LOVE U."

However, some people are analyzing the cover art in a totally different way, wondering why the singer is covered in chains and if has anything to do with the #FreeBritney movement.

One wrote, "Oh the irony of the cover pic. She's still in chains."
