Spears has won fans over with her catchy pop hits and her amazing dance moves, but this time, they weren't working in her favor.

This lip-syncing fiasco occurred during her performance of her hit song “I’m A Slave For You,” for which Spears wore an intricate mask as part of her costume. According to Metro, she had difficulty removing her mask and ended up moving her mic instead. Her mic then got caught in her hair.
Her mic was so tangled that she had to stop singing and dancing to finally get it detached. While this was going on, the vocals to the song were still playing, making it evident that she was lip-syncing. Concert goers were confused and upset by what was going on, but luckily, Spears pulled it together to deliver an amazing show.
Talk about an awkward moment! But surprisingly enough, there’s an unedited version of Spears’ song “Toxic” floating around the Internet. It’s come at the perfect time, now that some fans may need a little refresher on just how talented Britney really is.
