Britney Spears Reveals She’s Moved To Mexico
In the video, which she actually posted on her 43rd birthday, December 2nd, she explains exactly how the paparazzi have betrayed her over the years. “It really kinda hurts my feelings that the paparazzi make my face look like I’m wearing like a white mask, it doesn’t even look like me,” she explained. “They’ve always been incredibly cruel to me, the paparazzi, in pictures and in the way they’ve illustrated me to be.”
“I know I’m not perfect,” she continued, “but some of it is extremely mean and cruel, and that’s why I’ve moved to Mexico.” The video ended abruptly after this revelation, with no additional details provided about the pop star’s alleged move to Mexico, and while some of her fans are expressing their happiness for her, others aren’t buying it.
Fans Comment On Britney's Departure
While Britney turned off commenting on her post, the video has been reposted across social media, drawing a lot of comments from both fans and critics. "Highly doubt this," one critic wrote in an Instagram comment. "This is a manic episode that has gone on for 20 years."
"I feel like we will see her in CA next week," another person added.
"But wasn't she in the same resort hotel she always stays at?" one person pointed out. "I don't think you can ever rely on her word."
Others, though, were excited for the 43-year-old. "Congrats to her for getting away," one said. "She made the right decision before things turn crazy."
"As long as she's happy, that's all that matters," another said. "Nothing but love for her."
"Wishing her all the best," a final fan said. "I hope she loves wherever she is. So glad she feels at home."
