Swifties recognize Taylor Swift for her signature thigh-high boots and oversized shirt combo during football games, but is Brittany Mahomes trying to claim that style throne? Fans seem to think so!
At a recent Chiefs vs. Falcons game on Sunday, Sept. 22, Patrick Mahomes’ wife was seen wearing a studded Kansas City Chiefs T-shirt that went down to her thighs. She paired the shirt with black shorts that peeked from underneath her shirt and shiny red leather cowboy boots that went just below her knees.
Fans Think Brittany Mahomes Copied Taylor Swift's Go-To Game-Day Outfit
The mother of two styled the ensemble with a red and black Chanel quilted mini flap purse, her blonde hair in two fishtail braids, and a bunch of gold jewelry.
In the Instagram post shared by Jackson Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes' younger brother, Swifties were quick to point out the similarities between Brittany’s outfit and Taylor’s go-to football game look.
"Why did Brittany copy Taylor? SHE IS NO TAYLOR; SHE IS JUST PATRICK'S WIFE!!!"
"Wasn’t Taylor Swift wearing pretty much the same concept outfit last week game, KC t-shirt and thigh-high boots?" One fan replied to this comment by saying, "Sure was. She can't stand to be outdone."
The specific look in question is Taylor’s outfit from a Sept. 15th Chiefs game where the Eras icon wore a loose Kansas City Chiefs shirt along with black leather boots and a black purse.

However, many of Brittany's supporters came to her defense in the comments section, saying that this style is a popular choice among many for game-day ensembles.
One user wrote, "Who cares if she did? She’s obviously comfortable in her own skin and made a wonderful life for herself."
"So what? Swift wore a Chiefs shirt and boots. Wow, what an original concept," said another person.
"Brittany has been in the game way longer than Taylor. Taylor hasn’t invented any new look; besides “look at me,” leave Mahomes alone," while another fan said, "I bet a lot of people wore cute t-shirts and boots. Should they not??"
