Brooke Shields, 56, has rocked so many iconic makeup looks in her legendary career as a model and actress, so naturally, many fans want to hear her beauty tips and advice! In a video for Vogue Magazine, Shields allowed her 1.8 million followers a glimpse into her makeup and skincare routine and favorite products— and fans can’t get over her naturally radiant, glowing and beautiful skin.

Shields began her video by showing that she prefers a gentle anti-aging cleanser for either taking off her makeup or preparing her skin for a night out as this step has many uses and benefits. “Now as I’ve gotten older and don’t have as much elasticity in my skin, I realized that I need to be more gentle,” she said, before choosing a topical collagen supplement. The Endless Love star then detailed her love of facials and showed viewers how she uses eye drops to reduce redness in her skin, under-eye patches, a lip sleeping mask and tinted SPF.

“The crazy thing about makeup is that [because] I’ve been a model since I was 11 months old, I never paid attention to when my makeup was being done. I never really figured out how to do it myself because it was done for me,” Shields said before diving into her favorite makeup tools. When creating her signature eyeliner and blush/ highlighter looks, she explained that she prefers a “less is more” makeup strategy rather than “theatrical” one, like many modern contour trends.

She is seen using an eyeshadow palette and highlighter to enhance her natural beauty and then creamy blush sticks to amp up her look even more. Her favorite part of her makeup routine, she said, is mascara.“I can never have too much mascara. There’s something about [it] that I’m just crazy about,” she said, and with the way it draws attention to her stunning blue eyes, we can see why!

Shields’ final steps included lip liner, lip gloss and eyebrow pencil for her iconic thick brow look. Before heading out the door to an event or red carpet, Shields says she uses a spritz of facial mist to hold her subtle makeup look in place. The Blue Lagoon actress posted her Vogue video to Instagram on February 15th and quickly amassed thousands of likes, views and comments of approval from fans.

“Beautiful! Thanks for being so real!” wrote one user while another added, “thank you for embracing your age and your skin. We need more of this in today’s culture,” regarding skincare and beauty tips for anyone 50 and over. Others were wowed by her gorgeous natural complexion as seen in the beginning of the video, even without a drop of product. “You are just so naturally beautiful, your skin is amazing!” added another user. “With or without makeup, you’ll always be one of my favorite style and beauty icons,” said another.

As a matter of fact, in a recent Instagram post uploaded on June 22, Shields shared a video of herself makeup free and she looks naturally beautiful. A part of her caption even said, “I’m not afraid of aging.”
