Burger King just dropped a spicier version of their iconic chicken nuggets, and fans can’t get enough of the new menu item! These new Fiery Nuggets are coated with an “irresistible spicy glaze,” that the chain says is made of Cayenne peppers, Birds Eye chili and black pepper.
These peppers are more than ten times as hot as your average jalapeño, so these nuggets (that were unveiled last month) can instantly give a thrilling kick to your lunch hour. We rounded up fan reactions on Twitter as this new addition to Burger King’s menu is becoming more and more popular.
In addition, the fast food giant also released a new drink, the limited-edition Frozen Fanta Kickin’ Mango. This frozen summer beverage combines mango and citrus elements along with “a touch” of spicy chili flavoring. We’ll break it all down:

The new Fiery nuggets and frozen Fanta drink combo will be available at BK restaurants nationwide until August 17, 2023. Dane Callis, Senior Brand Manager, Fanta North America said in a statement: "The Fiery Nuggets needed an equally tasty companion, so we’re excited to introduce this (combo) that simultaneously cools and kicks up the heat."
As for what fans on Twitter think? Many are praising both items, with one tweeting this week: "@BurgerKing's Fiery Nuggets for the #WIN!" They added: "A perfect balance of heat and flavor."
Someone else commented: "tried Burger King’s new fiery nuggets, and I can honestly say that they fully live up to the hype! The sauce and the crunch are amazing."
One other chimed in: "burger king fiery chicken nuggets are so good" as a fellow customer agreed: "Burger King better not ever get rid of these Fiery Nuggets. Honestly."
Regarding the new Frozen Fanta Kickin’ Mango drink, someone took to Twitter to describe it as "extremely hot" as another expressed that it caught them "off guard," but was still tasty.
