The ‘Butterly’ Top Trend Dua Lipa Can’t Stop Wearing—This Denim One Barely Covers Hers Chest!

Dua Lipa has been serving look after lewk lately. The “Levitating” singer has been stepping up her fashion game more and more every time we see her. From strutting down the runway for Versace during Milan Fashion Week, or turning up the heat on Instagram in lace bodysuits, we’re living for every ‘fit she wears. And just when we thought Dua Lipa couldn’t get any hotter, she shared THIS butterfly top look with her Insta followers…and left us speechless.
The brunette beauty shared a series of sexy snaps in an all-denim look that included high-waisted jeans and a tiny butterfly crop top that barely covered her chest. Dua captioned her post “kaybug” and got over 3.8m likes from her ever-growing 74m followers. Dua also tagged art collaborative, FriendsWithYou—the makers of the art piece behind her.
If Dua’s butterfly crop top looks familiar, it’s because Dua has been on a butterfly top kick. The Future Nostalgia songstress shared a snap from her September 29th vacay wearing another butterfly top. The gorgeous pop star dropped several photos giving us ultimate hot girl summer energy—albeit in the fall. We were obsessed with that Y2K butterfly top and how she paired it with dark grey jeans and a choker necklace. And we’re equally obsessed with her denim-on-denim butterfly look this week.
We can’t help but wonder (in Carrie Bradshaw’s voice) whether hanging out with Bella Hadid so much is rubbing off on Dua when it comes to her style. Both babes have been loving the late ‘90s and early 2000s aesthetic, and, now—so are we.
We love that Dua’s looks are daring, yet she always makes them look effortlessly cool. From bra and blazer combos, to lace bodysuits, and all kinds of crazy cut-outs—she’s always switching things up.
We can’t wait to see what she wears next, but, in the meantime, we’re for sure going to be tracking down a butterfly top of our own ASAP.
