If you thought that fall meant covering up completely, think again. Celebs have continued to strip down in all kinds of scantily clad trends—from sheer bodysuits to tiny mini skirts (we’re looking at you, Megan Fox). But one trend celebs are seriously loving is the risqué cardigan. And when we saw the one Camila Mendes just wore on the red carpet, we couldn’t believe she didn’t have a wardrobe malfunction!

The brunette took to Instagram to share snaps from the Fairfax pop up opening in Los Angeles. She captioned her post: “last night for @fairfaxonprime so grateful to have voiced melody, cerise and some other fun characters. all from the floor of my closet at the beginning of the pandemic. this show is hilarious and relatable and i highly recommend you all go watch it on @amazonprimevideo” and got over 3.4m likes from her 26.6m followers. If you thought the comments were filled with fire emojis, you’re right.

Cami’s look was from none other than Versace—with the brand’s iconic logo visible on her skirt. But what we truly can’t get over is Camila’s hanging-on-by-a-thread cardigan! Ms. Mendes is rocking the pin top trend in cardigan form and we’re loving it.

But the brunette beauty isn’t the first celeb to jump on this trend. Megan Fox was photographed leaving a photoshoot in LA last month looking flawless in a monochromatic matching red outfit that included a dangerously-close-a-wardrobe-malfunction cardigan just like Camila’s. And celebs like Hailee Steinfeld sported a risqué cardigan in her InStyle Mexico photoshoot! But the original trendsetter? Bella Hadid started wearing the pin-top trend over the summer. And after seeing more celebs wearing it into the fall and winter, we wouldn’t be surprised to see this trend keep going into 2022.
