The Cannes Film Festival is something red carpet enthusiasts look forward to following the Oscars and the Met Gala, as the A-listers really do pull out all the stops with their outfits. And they have delivered once again!
This year, some of the biggest and most stylish models and Hollywood stars walked the red carpet in some truly show-stopping dresses. And we spotted a theme with some of our favorites: they all featured seriously plunging fronts! Take a look at some of the best low-cut dresses on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet so far…
Eva Longoria
The Desperate Housewives alum showed everyone how making a statement on the Cannes red carpet is done when she arrived at the Kinds of Kindness premiere. The brunette beauty turned heads in a backless beaded Elie Saab halter dress, which featured a super-daring plunging neckline and a stunning rose gold ombré train. She accessorized with a dazzling pink choker, and matching earrings and rings.
Emma Stone
The two-time Oscar-winner clearly got the memo about low-cut dresses, as she attended the Kinds of Kindness premiere in a sizzling plum-colored sequin Louis Vuitton dress, with one of the most daring plunging necklines we've ever seen. It was not for the faint hearted! She chose to forgo a necklace, and instead went for a statement bracelet, as well as some hoop earrings which could be seen through her loose waves.
Kirsten Dunst
Dunst played the part of the loving and supportive wife at the Kinds of Kindness premiere, as she walked the red carpet with her husband Jesse Plemons, who stars in the Yorgos Lanthimos movie. She also got the plunging front memo, as she attended the premiere in a chic low-cut black gown, which featured a plunging front, sheer panel detailing, and a cowl back. She accessorized with a sparkling Cartier necklace and a black bow in her hair.
Helena Christensen
Leave it to an iconic and truly ageless supermodel to show people how making a statement on the red carpet is done. Christensen shut down the Cannes red carpet in a bridal-inspired white dress by Vivienne Westwood, which again, came with a seriously seductive plunging front. It also featured a dramatic, flowing, floor-length cape, which only added to the wow factor of her look. She accessorized with stunning Pomellato jewelry and elevated her hairstyle with a white satin bow by Jennifer Behr.
