Cara Delevingne had one more reason to be grateful this holiday season when the Los Angeles Police Department came to her property’s rescue.
As reported by E! News, a 22-year-old man named Sedric Ruempker was arrested on Delevingne’s California property on Wednesday, Dec. 18. Thankfully, Delevingne’s alert neighbors reportedly notified authorities when they witnessed someone hopping a fence to gain access to the British model’s land. In an interview with E! News, LAPD said that they did not know if the trespassing was targeted specifically for Delevingne or if it was the property was randomly selected.
Luckily, Ruempker never stepped foot inside Delevingne’s home and the model-turned-actress was not home at the time of the trespassing, TMZ reported.
Delevingne was instead spending her day on a high note while celebrating girlfriend Ashley Benson’s 30th birthday.
The 27-year-old model took to Instagram to share her wishes and loving thoughts for the birthday girl. “Happy birthday @ashleybenson There is so much I could say but something I love and cherish most about us is that I don’t need to because YOU KNOW and that’s all that matters. It’s you and me which is my favourite. My safe place,” she wrote. “You let me be silly, you let me be wild, you keep me free, secure and curious. I feel like I’ve known you my entire life and I am so proud of watching you grow into the woman that you always dreamt of being.” How sweet is that?!
The couple celebrated Benson’s birthday by taking a trip to Morocco, according to the now 30-year-old’s Instagram. Benson shared a series of photos from their trip and said, “I was surprised on my 30th birthday. Morocco has always been a place I’ve wanted to visit. I faced so many fears and took on new adventures with my best friend by my side. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I love you @caradelevingne. Thank you for making my birthday the best yet.”
