To complete her runway look, the Dancing with the Stars alum wore her long, chestnut tresses and wispy bangs down, styled into elegant beachy waves. She captioned her post: “Feeling like a million bucks! Walking the runway for Sports Illustrated Swim Week in Miami was an absolute blast.”
She added, reflecting: “As I strutted down that catwalk, I couldn’t help but embrace my inner Carol Alt and soak in the electrifying energy all around me. The crowd’s cheers and the pulsating beats amplified the incredible atmosphere.”
Alt completed her note: “Being part of this iconic event, alongside so many talented models and designers, was nothing short of exhilarating. Thank you, Sports Illustrated, for giving me this unforgettable opportunity to showcase the beauty and strength of all women.”
Over the span of her distinguished career, Alt has graced the pages of more than 700 magazines. She made a major splash when she was featured on the cover of SI Swimsuit in 1982, after being photographed by John G. Zimmerman in Kenya.
It was then that Life Magazine declared her to be "The Next Million Dollar Face," which resulted in an offer from Playboy, who named her "The Most Beautiful Woman in the World."
Alt sat down for an interview with The Daily Mail after the Miami Swim Week show, discussing her time at the event, how she prepared, her healthy raw food diet, and more. "I love it, it was so much fun!" she told the outlet about being part of the show.
"It was quite a long runway. Halfway through I just couldn’t be straight-faced anymore. I had to smile and laugh and interact with the wonderful crowd that was there. They were very supportive and cheered us on." She continued: "Women are beautiful at any age at any size — be happy to let your light radiate."
Fans in her post comment section praised her "youthful" look, "confidence" and deemed her a style icon. One commented: "So beautiful! Plus you can feel the wonderful feeling of your happiness!" Someone else added: "So truly beautiful always and forever."
