Carrie Underwood’s Personal Trainer Reveals How She Helps The Singer Get ‘Amazing Strength And A Sculpted Physique’ With Upper And Lower Body Exercises

Carrie Underwood‘s incredible physique, which is a result of an epic 30-lb weight loss, is no coincidence. The 41-year-old “Before He Cheats” singer notoriously works very hard in the gym to get her famously toned and sculpted figure, while also making sure she has the best diet to fuel and complement her workouts.

But what exactly does she do to get one of the best figures in the music business? Luckily, her trainer has been all too happy to reveal all…

Carrie Underwood Reportedly Works Out Almost Every Single Day, According To Her Trainer Of Over 13 Years

Eve Overland, who has been working with the eight-time Grammy winner for over 13 years, spoke to Shape about what she and her client get up to in their 90-minute sessions. Overland said that she and the new American Idol judge work out almost every single day, even when Carrie is touring, so we can expect her to continue her exercise routine when she travels up and down the country filming Idol!

"Each workout incorporates both upper-body as well as lower-body exercises," Overland shared, adding: "Most commonly, we will work with opposing muscle groups, so she gets a lot of frequency with lower-body exercises without overworking it on any given day. This approach has contributed to her amazing strength as well as sculpted physique."

She explained that one workout will include upper-body push exercises such as chest presses and tricep extensions, as well as lower-body pull exercises such as hamstring curls and deadlifts.

Overland previously told E! News that she and the "Hate My Heart" singer focus on basic compound lifts such as squats, rows, presses and deadlifts because "they give you the most bang for your buck, no matter what age you are."

The trainer then went on to say that Carrie's super-sculpted legs are only part of what they work on during their sessions (more on her leg workout down below) as she also likes to make sure the mom-of-two is physically fit enough to tackle both her daily busy mom life and her touring life, which is why jogging and heavy lifting are also a must.

And now the workout that everyone has been waiting for… the legs! When it comes to maintaining those famous legs, which always look incredible in her mini dresses and short shorts, it's apparently all about consistency!

"To have legs like Carrie, be consistent and if you don't love lifting then we got to take it back," Overland confessed, before saying that Underwood's consistency, determination and dedication have contributed to her "completely sculpted and conditioned" figure.

"She puts in 100 percent of her entire being into everything she does, in or out of the gym," Overland said, which really doesn't surprise us! She added: "She's very focused, motivated and she's always in a good mood."
