Carrie Underwood Ignores Backlash After Singing At The Inauguration
Before joining American Idol as a judge, Underwood sparked controversy by performing at President Donald Trump’s inauguration. When fans of the show learned about it, many threatened to boycott the upcoming season.
One person commented on a February 9th Instagram post on her page: “No thanks! Anyone that sings willingly for an insurrectionist is not worth watching!” Another replied, “skipping this season.” One other added, “Yeah, I won’t be watching this year then.
