The ceremony was held for the very first time in Austin, Texas this year, at the Moody Center. The night was hosted by country crooners Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown. Underwood helped present during the evening, and was nominated for the following awards: 'Video Of The Year' for "Hate My Heart," and 'Female Video Of The Year' for "Ghost Story." She lost the former to Kane Brown and Katelyn Brown for "Thank God," and the latter to Lainey Wilson for "Heart Like A Truck."

Fans Slam CMT Music Awards For 'Robbing' Underwood Of 'Deserved' Wins

Naturally, fans headed to Underwood's IG comment section to not only hype up her silver, glimmering get-up, but also to express their "sadness" at her "getting robbed" and not winning either of the two awards. "Best legs in the business! I’m so jealous! Lol" one commented as another chimed in, writing, "Obsessed with this look," with heart-eye emojis (us, too!)

One fan wrote under the American Idol winner's upload, "You were amazing as usual! I’m glad you saw us voting, but man do I feel like we let you down some. You deserve the world." Someone else added, "you deserved those awards more than anyone" as one other replied, "Love your music, but no longer following CMT."

Although Underwood didn't bring home the gold this year, the "Jesus, Take the Wheel" hitmaker still remains the most-awarded star in CMT Music Awards history!
