Carrie Underwood blows us away with her voice and her wardrobe in equal measures. And she wowed us with both when she took to the Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville, Tennessee on July 30th to honor legendary Grammy-winning singer Barbara Mandrell, who retired in 1997, in celebration of her remarkable 50th anniversary as an Opry member.
The 39-year-old “Ghost Story” singer treated the audience to a wonderful performance of Mandrell’s “I Was Country When Country Wasn’t Cool” (among others) and she looked utterly jaw-dropping with her choice of ensemble!

Carrie wowed the crowd in a sparkling gold floor-length gown, which featured one sheer sleeve and one off-the-shoulder sleeve, and a romantic pleated skirt. She styled her hair in her signature down do, with subtle yet glamorous waves.
The “If I Didn’t Love You” hitmaker took to Instagram the next day to gush about the “honor” of the evening, which involved so many other country stars, including CeCe Winans, Linda Davis, and Suzy Bogguss, also performing Mandrell’s hit songs in a tribute to the country legend.
