Carrie Underwood just confirmed that her highly-anticipated second single from her latest album “Denim & Rhinestones” will be the track “Hate My Heart,” which will be released on October 31st. The song will be the second single from the album, after the hugely-successful “Ghost Story,” and was written by Carrie alongside Hillary Lindsey, David Garcia and singer/songwriter Hardy.

“Hate My Heart” was “definitely part of my desire to have fun on this album,” Carrie said in a statement, according to Billboard. “I wanted songs that would be exciting to perform live and would fill up an arena, and that’s exactly what we’re about to do with The Denim & Rhinestones Tour. This one is definitely going to get everyone up on their feet and having a good time,” she continued, in reference to her upcoming tour. “It was great writing “Hate My Heart” with Hillary Lindsey and David Garcia, who I love collaborating with, and also getting to work with Hardy, who brought a cool vibe and an energy to the track,” she added.

Carrie treated her fans to a sneak preview of the stunning artwork on her Instagram account on October 11th. And it looks like she really ran with the rhinestones trend in terms of her outfit for the cover, as she was rocking a sparkly bodysuit with a super-daring plunging front that almost reached her bellybutton (*wow!*) as well as some jewel-encrusted pants and a chic, oversized jacket.
