Carrie Underwood showed off her epic style on the latest cover issue of Las Vegas Weekly magazine, giving readers an inside look into her return to Las Vegas for her residency, REFLECTION, at Resorts World Las Vegas. The “Before He Cheats” singer, posed for a stunning photoshoot, rocking a sheer, black sequined jumpsuit with a dangerously low-cut neckline. Check out the photos here and here.
Carrie Underwood Stuns In A Plunging Black Sequined Bodysuit On The Cover Of 'Las Vegas Weekly'
The bodysuit that Carrie, who just announced her own SiriusXM channel, wore on the cover was black and covered in sequined. It was sheer and had intricate cut-out designs. Underneath the bodysuit, Carrie wore a pair of skin-toned bottoms. Her bodysuit also featured a plunging neckline that stops right before her belly button. It also had long sleeves that were skintight and had fun fringe tassels along the side. The bottom on bodysuit opened up into bell bottoms. The hem of the bodysuit was so long we can't tell what kind of shoes she's wearing, but we can assume they're heels to add some height.
The "Dirty Laundry" singer styled her hair in a deep side part with romantic wavy, curly hair. She went for gull glam with thick lashes, sparkly eyeshadow, rosy cheeks, and a light pink, glossy lip. Carrie completed her outfit with a pair of big purple star earrings that were bejeweled and also featured tassels. She also wore a chunky ring on her right hand. The cover shows Carrie posing in the black sequined bodysuit on stage with a mic in her hand. Carrie also appeared on the cover of Modern Luxury Vegas recently in a gold dress with an impossibly high slit.
Carrie's Reflection show at Resorts World Theatre resumed on June 21st. The singer hasn't performed in Las Vegas since December 2022 since she was on her Denim & Rhinestones tour.
She first performed at the 5,000-seat theater in Las Vegas in December 2021, after Celine Dion had to postpone her scheduled dates due to health issues. Reflection was the first residency show Carrie ever did—and it was definitely a success! It sold out its initial run and all 18 of last year's shows, according to the Weekly.
"Carrie is an unstoppable force in the music industry, and her residency here in Vegas is a celebration of her impressive career,” Drew Strozza, Resorts World's vice president of entertainment told the Weekly about the singer. "It's been amazing to have her be such a huge part of opening our Resorts World Theatre. June will be an incredibly special month as we celebrate our 2-year anniversary and welcome her back for this residency run."
When asked how she felt about her return to residency, Carrie said, "It felt pretty comfortable from the start, because it's a hard thing to get into a groove when you’re out on tour [going from] place to place and everything is always changing. It's nice to be in one place, and it's just that feeling that it's Vegas and you want to bring a show because people expect to see a show. It was really exciting to create something like that."
