If you thought Carrie Underwood‘s Denim & Rhinestones tour wardrobe was show-stopping, just wait ’til you see her latest Las Vegas residency looks! The 40-year-old “Ghost Story” singer returned to her highly-acclaimed Reflection residency at Resorts World Theater back in September, and she treated fans to some of the best on-stage ensembles we think we’ve ever seen on social media!
Those not lucky enough to secure a ticket – or those who are still waiting for their show date to arrive – were given a sneak peek at some of the spectacular outfits they can expect from the residency on the “Hate My Heart” singer’s Instagram account on November 8th. (Check out the post here.) We guess it’s her way of reminding fans that while she is taking a short break at the moment, she will be returning to the stage on November 29th, and will be performing from December 1st right through to December 16th. Talk about Christmas coming early!
Carrie Underwood's 'Reflection' Las Vegas Residency Outfits
When it comes to the "Before He Cheats" singer's on-stage wardrobe, there is no such thing as too sparkly, too embellished, or too leg-revealing. And that's extremely evident in the video she shared with her 13M Instagram followers.
Naturally there was going to be a lot of denim on the stage, with one of our favorite looks consisting of an embellished pair of denim hotpants which showed off her sculpted legs perfectly. The rest of her dancers are decked in all-denim ensembles, just in case there wasn't enough denim on the stage!
There's no shortage of metallic looks on the stage either, as Carrie wears an iridescent romper at the beginning of the show, among many other metallic pieces. Stylist Emma Trask told People that the romper, which you can see in Carrie's video, was accessorized with a Dolce & Gabbana fringe mini skirt, which was repurposed and turned into a capelet. Wow!
There are also some stunning fringe looks which Carrie wears on stage during the residency – and the pleather fringe chap boots by Azealea Wang (below) are among our favorites.
Husband Mike Fisher Is Reportedly Unhappy With Extended Residency Dates
The eight-time Grammy winner's fans will understandably be delighted to hear that she has extended her residency due to popular demand, and has added some extra dates next year.
Carrie has added March 6th 'til March 16th, May 22nd 'til May 31st, June 1st, and August 14th 'til August 24th. But not everyone is happy with the news, as her husband Mike Fisher is reportedly not thrilled that she will be away for even longer than originally anticipated.
According to Life & Style, an insider said the former NHL player "is not happy Carrie extended her residency." Fisher typically stays at their Tennessee home with sons, Isaiah, 8, and Jacob, 4, and wants nothing more than for his wife to come home.
"He's very traditional, and while he loves that Carrie has a career, he believes her role as a wife and mother should be a priority. Mike just wants Carrie to come home," the insider added.
