After wrapping up her classic “Before He Cheats” performance, things were going smoothly until she headed toward the back of the stage during the rainstorm. Disaster struck when Underwood unexpectedly took a tumble off the stage, vanishing from sight.

Immediately afterward, several fans could be heard exclaiming, “She fell!”

But later on, Carrie, who recently made headlines for looking unrecognizable, took to Instagram to share a clip of her fall and captioned it: “We won’t let a little rain stop us! We won’t let a massive downpour stop us, either!”

In another carousel post, she said in the caption, “Well, last night sure was fun! And though the ending was quite unexpected, it made for a night we’ll never forget! Thanks for being awesome.”
