As for her glam, the Carol actress and style icon wore her signature blonde tresses in a slicked-back, side-parted updo. For her makeup look, the Lord of the Rings alum went for black liner, voluminous lashes, radiant blush on her high cheekbones, rosy eyeshadow and a dark pink lipstick.

The BAFTAs, or the British Academy Film Awards, pay tribute to exceptional movies and performances, regardless of whether they come from foreign or national productions. The latest ceremony, marking its 77th year, was hosted by Doctor Who alum David Tennant at London's prestigious Royal Festival Hall on February 18th.          

Blanchett and the Prince of Wales, 41, were photographed smiling and embracing each other. William has been president of BAFTA since 2010. He noticeably walked the 2024 event red carpet by himself, as his wife Kate Middleton was hospitalized last month after undergoing abdominal surgery.

According to Buckingham Palace, she is doing well, but understandably unable to participate in any public events. William and Kate, 42, are frequent attendees of the yearly awards show. The duo first appeared as the Prince and Princess of Wales during last year's ceremony.
