Cate Blanchett just gave us a masterclass in rocking denim on denim!
The I’m Not There actress appeared on Good Morning America in a chic ensemble from Brandon Maxwell’s Resort 2025 collection. She sported a denim button-up featuring gold buttons and four pockets at the corners, paired with matching flared trousers. To elevate the look, she cinched her waist with a thick belt from the same brand, showcasing a side-turned, gold-trimmed heart buckle.

Blanchett completed her outfit with burgundy crocodile pointed-toe heels and clear glasses with black rims, while her blonde hair was styled in a chic wavy lob.
While her outfit may resemble denim, the pieces were actually crafted from velvet designed to mimic the look of classic blue jeans.
During the press tour for her movie Borderlands, the 55-year-old also made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, in which she revealed some interesting facts about her paycheck for The Lord of the Rings.
In the popular "Plead the Fifth" segment, host Andy Cohen asked her which film earned her the biggest paycheck.

Instead of pleading the fifth, the Louis Vuitton ambassador playfully asked Cohen to guess first. “I think it’s probably Lord of the Rings,” he replied.
Blanchett replied, "Are you kidding me?! No, I didn’t get paid anything to do that movie!"
She added, "I wanted to work with the guy who made Braindead,” speaking of The Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson’s 1992 zombie movie.
"I mean, I basically got free sandwiches, and I got to keep my ears — which is something they fed me,” the actress wittily said.
