The black dress in question, which appears on the cover and also in the editorial, features delicate long sleeves and a turtleneck, and clings to the Borderlands actress's slender frame perfectly.
The Armani ambassador, whose makeup is naturally courtesy of some of the finest Giorgio Armani Beauty products, is rocking a few other enviable pieces in the editorial too, including a suede jacket with a crisp white shirt underneath. Check out some more of the editorial pics here.
The I'm Not There actress spoke about her relationship with Giorgio Armani in her accompanying interview, and said: "All my life I have been connected to his aesthetic and vision. Giorgio Armani is a creative force that has truly stood the test of time. He has been able to expand his empire without ever diluting his essence, effortlessly elegant and authentic."
She added: "It is about the grace and dignity with which he carries himself, but also about his curiosity. The people I find most beautiful have this intense curiosity about everything around them and a lack of egocentrism, which is increasingly rare to find."
Cate Blanchett Says Being A Mother Is 'Not All' That She Is
As well as gushing over Giorgio Armani, the Oscar-winning actress also opened up about motherhood. FYI, she and Andrew Upton, her husband of 27 years, are parents to sons Dashiell, 23, Roman, 20, (who recently accompanied her to The Albies) and Ignatius, 16, as well as daughter Edith, who they adopted in 2015.
Telling the mag that there is so much more to her than being a mother, the Blue Jasmine actress said: "I love my children. Motherhood is a vital part of who I am, but it is not all that I am."
"I think there are many people who are a mother to communities in the workplace. It is equality, it is a sense of care, respect and nurturing," she continued, adding: "If we all developed a greater sense of motherhood, in the best possible way, men and women, the world would be a better place."
