Blake Lively came under fire a few months ago for seemingly fat-shaming an interviewer in a resurfaced clip. And earlier this month, Anne Hathaway was also criticized for being rude to the very same interviewer back when she was promoting Les Misérables – although unlike the Gossip Girl actress, the Devil Wears Prada actress did come forward and apologize to the interviewer, so all was right with her reputation again. Until now!

While the Eileen actress’s reputation was temporarily fixed, another professional has now come out to share his own experiences with her. And it doesn’t sound good…

Celebrity Hairstylist Says Working With Anne Hathaway Was One Of His ‘Worst Experiences’

In a TikTok video posted by the @whatitwaslikepodcast account earlier this month, celebrity hairstylist Emanuel Miller opened up about some of his past experiences with A-listers. And he did not have positive things to say about the Princess Diaries actress, who he said was even worse to work with than the Green Lantern actress. Yikes!

“I did a film with Anne Hathaway, and that was one of my worst experiences,” Miller confessed, before saying: “Anne never acknowledged me as a person.”

“For four and a half months, she treated me like a servant,” Miller continued, before saying that Hathaway didn’t seem to take any interest in him or his family, despite his daughter working as her stand-in while filming.

"I was doing [Anne's] hair personally, just one on one, I was just doing her hair. She never said, 'Your daughter. Do you have other children?' or 'How long have you been married?' There was never any personal conversation."

This, according to Miller, is a stark contrast to celebs like Cate Blanchett, Johnny Depp, and Tom Hanks, who he said have all engaged in polite and friendly conversations with him and taken an interest in him and his family.

Hathaway has responded to Miller's allegations via a statement reading: "It's unfortunate to hear that Manny's memory of our time together differed so dramatically from mine. I continue to wish him nothing but the best."

TikTok Comments

There were mixed reactions in the comments, with some people thinking that the ageless actress wasn't obligated to engage in conversation while working, while others sided with Miller.

"Why does she owe you a conversation?" asked one TikTok user, as a second concurred: "They're not your friend, they're your client." A third joked: "I don't talk to the person who has been cleaning my house for almost a year." "They are not obligated to make small talk... some ppl just prefer some silence," added a fourth.

A fifth user didn't really agree, writing: "Guys, not wanting to make small talk with your hairdresser one time at a hair salon is much different than having your hair done by the SAME person for 4 months straight with no interaction at all." "People don't understand. This isn't a salon visit. Is 12+ hours a day 5-6 days a week of touching that person up all day," echoed another. "I can understand not wanting to chitchat with your hairdresser but after 4 1/2 months it just becomes weird and uncomfortable," someone else thought.

"Color me completely unsurprised by this information," quipped another. "Anne Hathaway they can never make me like you," slammed another user, as someone else said, "Not the first time I've heard that about Anne." "AH is a diva," wrote another TikTok user.
