We want to thoroughly thank celebrities, for truly making the athleisure fashion trend both acceptable and celebrated. Between tanks, sports bras, 3/4 shorts, leggings, and more, there’s an endless supply of outfit choices (and colors) to choose from. It also allows other people to question, did you just work out… or are you pulling a Hailey Bieber?

While the celebrity workout-clothes-look has been around for a couple of years, have you noticed lately how tight (and revealing) the outfit choices are becoming? Booty sculpting bottoms, and compressed tops are now the norm, and brands are paying attention to this street style and making notes.

So who’s leading the trend?
- Gigi Hadid and her sister Bella are no strangers to the athleisure trend. Especially since Gigi is a spokesmodel for Reebok, and Bella for Nike.
- Hailey Bieber and her husband Justin Bieber, are constantly spotted out and about wearing questionable workout gear. Their only difference, is that they combine a piece of athleisure tight clothing with a baggy (or loose fitting) article of clothing. (I.e.: Compression shorts with a baggy tee, or a revealing sports bra with wide leg pants.
- The Kardashians are big fans of the athleisure trend, mostly because they’re always working out. Kim’s stories are showcasing her latest HIIT routines, while Khloe is showcasing her moves for her reality show, “Revenge Body”.
- Kate Hudson, is capitalizing on the athleisure trend (in a big way). Not only is she constantly seen in workout gear, she started her very own brand – Fabletics. Bringing on reality TV Stars (like Bachelorette contestants), Hudson uses the growing trend and the art of influencing to sell her products.
