Recently, celebs have been taking to Instagram dressed only in their bra and underwear – but as it turns out, they aren’t stripping down for the likes!
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which takes place every October, stars like Kate Hudson, Zoe Saldana, Dakota Fanning and Zoey Deutch are using their bodies for a very important cause. For every person who posts a picture in lingerie with the hashtag #kitstokickcancer, Kits Undergarments will donate $1 to the World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF).
Kudos to some of our favorite leading ladies for throwing their support behind a worthy cause! Keep scrolling to see their snaps.
One of the first stars to post a pants-free pic, actress Kate Hudson took an action shot while wearing a pink bra and matching underwear. In the caption, she explained that she was “joining my friends @kitsundergarments company to #kitstokickcancer … Sending a HUGE hug to all the survivors, the fighters and the families who have had to sadly say goodbye to loved ones. We fight to see the end of breast cancer in our lifetime!”
She also took the opportunity to encourage her followers to vote because “voting in underwear is fun! So don’t forget if you have a mail in ballot to get it in as soon as possible.”
Another actress raising support for breast cancer, Zoe Saldana slipped into a light pink lingerie set as she posed in front of a beachy backdrop. The Guardians of the Galaxy star urged fans to participate in the social media mission and help donate to breast cancer research.
Dakota Fanning was also pretty in pink as she took a mirror selfie.
She told her followers, “Be sure to tag @kitsundergarments and use #KitstoKickCancer”!
Set It Up actress Zoey Deutch opted for a more artistic shot with washed out colors.
“Hi friends it’s breast cancer awareness month,” she wrote underneath the picture. “So happy to help spread the word that my friends at @kitundergarments have partnered with @wcrfcure and will be donating 5% of sales for the entire month of october. in addition, they will donate $1 to @wcrfcure for everyone who posts a photo in their undergarments #KitstoKickCancer”.
With only a few days left in October, take your cues from these A-listers. Don’t forget to post your own version of #KitsToKickCancer in support of breast cancer research!
