The 70s are back in full swing thanks to all the flared pants and psychedelic prints that have been dominating the runways and the red carpets these days. (We *still* haven’t recovered from Olivia Wilde’s Kwaidan Editions dress that she wore at the 70th San Sebastian International Film Festival last month!) But the trend has taken an unexpected turn recently, with our favorite A-listers officially declaring that flared leggings are the next big thing! And due to how comfortable regular leggings are, we’re here for it!
Everyone from Hailey Bieber to Kendall Jenner to Kaia Gerber have stepped out in flared leggings of late, and we are obsessed with how they are wearing them! From what we can see so far, there doesn’t appear to be a wrong way to wear flared leggings this season! They can be dressed up or dressed down, worn with lots of fall/winter layers or even with barely-there crop tops for those feeling brave enough!

Kendall Jenner wore a chic pair of wide-leg leggings in New York City, teamed with an ab-baring white crop top, a long trench coat, and yellow pointed pumps.

The new Mrs Affleck, 53, gave us two seventies' trends in one with her off-duty ensemble, as her flared leggings also came in a super-zany print that we are totally obsessed with! Naturally she let the leggings do all the talking, and kept the rest of her look simple, opting for a white tee tied in a knot at the front to give fans a glimpse at those world-famous washboard abs, an Hermès Birkin bag, and oversized black shades, while her hair was styled in an effortless top knot.

The 25-year-old Victoria's Secret model has given fans some great sartorial inspiration with her take on the flared leggings trend, as it’s not only wearable but also season appropriate! Hailey teamed her mink-colored Aritzia flared leggings with a matching bralette, an oversized denim jacket, some Prada shearling slippers, a black The Row bag, and oval sunglasses.

Cindy Crawford's ever-stylish daughter has done it once again! The 21-year-old model has given us serious wardrobe envy and body envy – we're also going to say hair envy because we are obsessed with her cropped blonde cut! – and showed us perhaps one of the sexiest ways to wear flared leggings this fall. She teamed her black flares with a barely-there crop top, which no doubt showcased her super-sculpted abs perfectly! We don’t think we'll be brave enough to try this styling combo just yet, but we bow down to Kaia!
