The color pink and all things Barbiecore may be having the biggest moment right now thanks to the highly-anticipated release of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie as the titular character – but green is also proving to be hugely popular too!

Green has a royal seal of approval, with Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton both stepping out in various shades of the color over the past year. (Remember the Duchess of Sussex in her emerald green Giorgio Armani dress? Because we sure do!) But the royal ladies aren’t the only ones fond of the shade, as A-listers such as Kylie Jenner, who recently shared a picture of herself rocking a green one-shouldered mini dress on Instagram, Kendall Jenner, and Emily Ratajkowski (to name just three) have also proven to be huge fans. Could green be the color to finally overtake pink before the end of the year? It’s certainly looking that way!

Kate Middleton's Green Outfits

Ever the trend-setter, the Princess of Wales, 41, has worn green ensembles on various occasions over the past year alone – and it seems like she can rock every single shade of green wonderfully! The first and perhaps the most wow-worthy example of the mom-of-three in green comes courtesy of her Earthshot Prize Awards appearance in Boston back in December 2022. The rented Solace London dress stood out for so many reasons, including the royal-protocol-breaking off-the-shoulder top and high slit, but we think the bold color was perhaps the most head-turning of all!

A more recent example came when the Princess of Wales wore a green Suzannah London 'Flippy Wiggle' shirtdress when she visited the Anna Freud Centre, of which she is a patron, on May 18th. It was chic, sophisticated, and totally fashion-forward, and we adore how she styled it with Alessandra Rich 'Fab 85' two-tone pumps and gold Accessorize textured drop earrings.

We are now moving into more turquoise territory, just to prove that the Princess of Wales really can rock it all! We’re still obsessed with the monochrome outfit Kate wore back in May 2022, when she arrived at London's Design Museum to present the Queen Elizabeth II Award to an emerging designer for British design. She wore a stunning dark teal midi dress from Canadian designer Edeline Lee, complete with a waist-cinching belt, which she accessorized with matching green heels and a clutch bag from Emmy London, as well as Nadia Irena statement gold earrings.

It's not just green dresses that the Duchess of Cambridge can rock, as she has also made a case for green outerwear on several occasions over the years. Although we are still blown away by the green Alexander McQueen coat dress she wore to the University of Leeds at the start of this year, we want to throw it back to 2017, to prove that she has always been ahead of the fashion game. The bespoke Catherine Walker dress she wore in France back in March 2017 is still one of our favorites, and we love the exaggerated gold buttons and the black cuff detail on the sleeves!

Emily Ratajkowski In Green

The 32-year-old High Low with EmRata podcast host never fails to turn heads with her off-duty looks, which regularly consist of ab-baring crop tops and super low-rise pants. However, the mom-of-one went down a slightly less casual street style look earlier this month, as she was papped in New York wearing a skin-tight midi dress in the dreamiest shade of light green, teamed with some barely-there heels. The light green hue of the dress complemented her newly-dyed red locks perfectly!

Kendall Jenner In Green

The 27-year-old 818 Tequila founder flaunted her supermodel figure in a skin-tight green midi dress from Victoria Beckham’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection earlier this year – and we still haven’t been able to stop thinking about it! Bella Hadid also wore the dress on the runway, but Kendall's chic styling of black opera gloves and black boots reigns supreme for us!
