But just when we thought we’d seen it all when it comes to wild celebrity trends, we spotted something that gave us serious déja vû.
If you remember Britney Spears’ “I’m a Slave 4 U” video and her pink-thong-over-pants look, then brace yourself for the 2021 version of the low-cut bottoms trend featuring: the thong. Yes, seriously. While celebs like Dua Lipa and Addison Rae started bringing back the thong in a big way earlier this summer, we recently spotted even more celebs stepping out in this trend.
Rihanna rocked the thong pants trend at the Met Gala after party. While she wore an amazing Balenciaga dress alongside boyfriend, ASAP Rocky to the main event—her post-gala look was even more jaw-dropping. Riri’s VERY sheer pants with a visible thong underneath are truly a look only she could pull off this flawlessly.
