Just last month, Céline Dion sensationally told her Instagram followers that she was trying her hardest to make her long-awaited return to the stage amid her battle with the rare neurological condition, Stiff Person Syndrome. And she is proving just how far she has come – and just how ready she is to make her epic comeback – by gracing not one but two covers of Vogue France.

The 56-year-old multi-Grammy-winning artist looks absolutely sensational in both of the covers, lensed by Cass Bird, as well as in the accompanying editorial images. Check them out here.

Céline Dion Covers ‘Vogue France’ May Issue

In one of the stunning covers, the “That’s The Way It Is” singer is posing in an oversized Balenciaga shirt, which she is wearing open with absolutely nothing underneath. So racy! On the bottom, she is flaunting her seemingly endless legs in a teeny tiny mini skirt, also by Balenciaga, with some sheer black Calzedonia tights underneath.

In another magazine cover, Céline is striking her fiercest pose in a pink Alaïa merino wool maxi coat, teamed with some Alaïa patent leather pumps. For jewelry, she is rocking a Boucheron diamond-encrusted white gold one-piece ear clip. Her hair is worn in a sleek, straight, asymmetric bob, which we are obsessed with!

Céline Dion Opens Up About Her Health

The “Power of Love” hitmaker looks great in the pictures, but how does she feel amid her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome? “I’m well, but it’s a lot of work. I’m taking it one day at a time,” Céline told the fashion bible, before explaining how she got through fighting the rare condition.

“I haven’t beat the disease, as it’s still within me and always will be,” she explained. “I hope that we’ll find a miracle, a way to cure it with scientific research, but for now I have to learn to live with it. So that’s me, now with Stiff Person Syndrome.”

“Five days a week I undergo athletic, physical and vocal therapy. I work on my toes, my knees, my calves, my fingers, my singing, my voice… I have to learn to live with it now and stop questioning myself. At the beginning I would ask myself: why me? How did this happen? What have I done? Is this my fault? Life doesn’t give you any answers. You just have to live it!”

The Love Again actress added: “I have this illness for some unknown reason. The way I see it, I have two choices. Either I train like an athlete and work super hard, or I switch off and it’s over, I stay at home, listen to my songs, stand in front of my mirror and sing to myself. I’ve chosen to work with all my body and soul, from head to toe, with a medical team. I want to be the best I can be. My goal is to see the Eiffel Tower again!”

The “My Heart Will Go On” singer then went on to explain that the “love” of her family, friends, and fans really helps her in her fight, as well as the support of her team. Noting how lucky she is to have this grand level of support, Céline added: “People who suffer from SPS may not be lucky enough or have the means to have good doctors and good treatments. I have those means, and this is a gift. What’s more, I have this strength within me. I know that nothing is going to stop me.”
