Turn On Advanced Data ProtectionApple now has an end-to-end encryption feature that ensures not even Apple know the data that you are sending and receiving, but in order to enable it, you have to turn on Advanced Data Protection.
The reason this isn’t a default for all Apple devices is because, even thought it’s better security, it’s also greater responsibility. Apple recognizes that not everyone wants the responsibility of encrypted data.
