Low Power Mode
Let’s start with the simplest way to get more from a taxed iPhone battery: enable a feature on your phone called Low Power Mode, says Harriet Chan, co-founder of CocoFinder.
“As you use your iPhone, you may always need to connect it to a charger,” Chan says. But what if you discover a life-changing hack to help increase the battery life? That hack is using your iPhone on low power mode. With this tool, your iPhone will remain powered up.”
Typically, Low Power Mode enables you to use your phone while saving up to 30% of the power, Chan confirms. “You will notice that once you activate the low power mode, your screen dims. It also turns off some features that run in the background, like automatic downloads. One thing that you will love is that your phone’s performance will be optimized.
To activate this tool, go to Battery Settings, then find the Low Power Mode. Make sure to turn it on.”
Turn On Airplane Mode
Another feature that you can easily enable for better battery life is Airplane Mode, says Katherine Brown, the founder of Spyic, a company engaged in parental control and remote monitoring programs.
“If your iPhone is inactive and not connected to any networks, just turn on the Airplane mode,” Brown says. “This also applies when you are flying, or have no hope of getting signals. Making this move stops your iPhone from searching for networks, which have an adverse effect on your battery life. To activate the Airplane mode: Click on settings, toggle for Airplane mode button at the top, hit the button to activate, [and] make sure the button brightens to signify active Airplane mode.”
Use an iPad Power Adapter
Finally, the tools you use to charge your phone make a difference.

“Using an iPad power adapter will quickly charge the iPhone and the battery would last longer,” says Tech Expert Nathan Hughes, the Marketing Director at DiggityMarketing. “The higher power wattage boosts the battery and the phone would be fully charged in 15 minutes. The 10W or 12W adapters would be better to quickly charge the phone.”
Three simple steps — one amazing outcome: an iPhone that will run for longer with a stronger battery life.
