In a scene from the trailer, which was posted to IG on January 30th through a collaborative effort by Netflix and Theron, the Bombshell actress is shown wearing the sleeveless black top paired with matching fitted pants. These garments highlight her sculpted physique as she engages in combat and demonstrates her fighting skills.
Beneath the above clip, one user wrote that they “can’t wait” to see the film (out July 2nd via Netflix) as another added: “Outstanding! While the storyline for the follow-up to The Old Guard remains largely under wraps, we do know it continues the narrative from the 2020 film about a team of eternal warriors who defend the world and struggle to conceal their powers. Theron's character heads a squad of ageless fighters who have been safeguarding humanity for hundreds of years.
The Old Guard 2, directed by Victoria Mahoney, will also feature KiKi Layne, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Matthias Schoenaerts, Vân Veronica Ngô, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Uma Thurman, and Henry Golding in starring roles.
