Cheddar Cheese Is Being Pulled From Stores In 4 States Amid E. Coli Outbreak

Raw Farm cheddar cheese products are being pulled from the shelves due to a connection with a recent multi-state E. coli outbreak. The products were sold across multiple states and stores.

The US Food and Drug Administration reported the recall, which was issued voluntarily by Raw Farm, on Fe. 17th. Read on for more details, including exactly which products the recall includes and what to do if you’ve purchased them.

Raw Farm Cheddar Cheese Recall

According to the FDA, the following Raw Farm Cheddar Cheese that were sold in the states of California, Colorado, Texas, and Utah have been recalled "out of an abundance of caution:"

    Raw Cheddar Cheese - Pound Block; Barcode: 835204000156; Expiration Date: 10/13/23 or olderRaw Cheddar Cheese - Half Pound Block; Barcode: 835204001177; Expiration Date: 10/13/23 or olderRaw Cheddar Cheese - Half Pound Shred; Barcode: 835204001184; Expiration Date: 01/16/24 or older

The products are all expired, but you should check your fridge or freezer for these just to be sure. As of Feb 16th, there have been 10 confirmed cases of E. coli, and 6 of them have confirmed eating Raw Farms Cheddar Cheese.

E. coli symptoms include stomach cramps, diarrhea, vomiting, and low-grade fever. If you are exhibiting any of these symptoms, contact your care provider as soon as possible.
