Cher rocked an all-black, sultry get-up to the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards in New York City, and undeniably seized the spotlight as she graced the red carpet. The Oscar winner, 76, went for a trendy bikercore/ gothic look with a low-cut, off-the-shoulder leather dress by Chrome Hearts that helped show off her tiny waist and toned figure. The Moonstruck alum, of course, broke the internet immediately with this look, as fans expressed that they found it “hard to believe” that she is “almost 80 years old.”

Cher Owns The Red Carpet In A Monochromatic Chrome Hearts Ensemble
The “Believe” hitmaker’s leather dress was left unzipped at the neckline to help flaunt her incredible figure, while a belt was cinched around her waist. The long, flowing skirt of the piece featured a high-slit that revealed her long, legs, and she added fishnet tights to give her ensemble even more of an edge. The skirt also had silver cross details on the side of Cher’s hip, along with rolled-up sleeves and pockets. The superstar stepped out in platform, black peep-toe heels while strutting down the carpet, posing for stunning solo shots and later joining Chrome Hearts designers Laurie Lynne Stark and Richard Stark for photos as well.

The “Gypsys, Tramps & Thieves” singer also donned shiny silver jewelry by Chrome Hearts for the evening, opting for a chain metal necklace and glittery wristlet cuff bracelet. The Mask actress wore her signature long black tresses down for the event, parting them in the middle and styling her locks into elegant, loose waves. As for makeup, Cher added glittery, smokey eyeshadow, voluminous mascara, subtle eyeliner, rosy blush on her ageless complexion, and a glossy pink lip to top it all off.

At the ceremony, Cher presented legendary stylist Patti Wilson with the Media Award. She came back onstage soon after with her goddaughter Jesse Jo Stark to give The Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award to the designers of Chrome Hearts, a brand she has worked with for decades (and who clearly never do her wrong when it comes to epic red carpet outfits!)

Cher Confirms Her Relationship With 36-Year-Old Music Producer
The Grammy winner also made headlines last week after she seemed to confirm her new relationship with Alexander Edwards (who is 40 years her junior), after she tweeted a photo of him with a heart. The pair were also spotted holding hands while dining at celebrity fave restaurant, Craig’s last week. Their romance is believed to be in its very early stages, with reports suggesting that they first got to know each other at the Rick Owens Spring 2023 show during Paris Fashion Week back in September.

While some fans expressed their “concerns” for Cher and her much-younger beau, the “If I Could Turn Back Time” crooner explained that she was not here for criticism, and tweeted, “I’m Not Defending us. Haters are Gonna Hate.” She added that it “doesn’t matter” what others think as she and Edwards are “Happy & Not Bothering Anyone.”
