Good news for fans of peaches, ice cream, Chick-fil-A, or all of the above. The popular fast food chain recently announced the return of another beloved menu item: their delicious Peach Milkshake—just one week after Wendy’s unveiled their new Strawberry Frosty. Do we sense some competition in the air?
It seems there’s never been a better time to enjoy fruity-flavored fast food desserts; fans may even be feeling torn between these two tasty limited-time menu items. Chick-fil-A’s Peach Milkshake officially made its return to the menu on June 13th. But you’ll have to act fast if you want a taste, as this rare flavor is only around for the summer season.

“Our team members are consistently asked by guests when their favorite seasonal milkshake, like the Peach Milkshake, will be back on the menu, so we want to continue to make this a yearly tradition for them,” the restaurant said in a press release. This flavor first debuted over a decade ago, in 2009, and Chick-fil-A says it’s now “a standout seasonal offering.”
It seems it certainly is a favorite. Fans took to Chick-fil-A’s Instagram comments to sing the praises of this milkshake. “Yum so refreshing and good,” one wrote. “The best!” another said.

The chicken restaurant isn’t the only fast food chain to offer season milkshake flavors. McDonald’s, for example, offers the beloved mint-flavored Shamrock Shake every spring.
Wendy’s Strawberry Frosty, on the other hand, is a never-before-seen treat. It’s currently taking the place of the Vanilla Frosty on the menu for the first time ever. But fans seem to be loving it, so our fingers are crossed that it will become a seasonal dessert we can look forward to every year alongside Chick-fil-A’s Peach Milkshake. The only question is: which one will you try first?
