Children’s Mouthwash Pulled From Stores Like Whole Foods For Poisoning Risk–Parents, Take Note

Heritage Store Hydrogen Peroxide Mouthwash has been pulled from shelves due to a risk of poisoning children. The affected products were sold across multiple stores, including Whole Foods, Mom’s Organic Market, Fresh Thyme Farmer’s Market, Amazon, and others.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall on in February, saying that the hydrogen peroxide mouthwash bottles contains enough of the ingredients that require childsafe packaging, but the affected products were not child-resistant, a violation of the Poison Prevention Packaging Act.
