Chipotle is known for its hearty burritos, but recent customer experiences are leaving fans outraged. Many diners have taken to social media to express their frustration after being served what they describe as “half-sized” burritos at full price. The unexpected downsizing has sparked a wave of complaints, with some customers threatening to boycott the chain altogether, calling the situation “actually insane.” Keep reading for more information.

Chipotle Customer Sparks Outrage With Half-Sized Burrito

While many customers have experienced the same situation, user @Shr3dDurst took the next step and posted about their experience on Reddit, even attaching a photo of their Chipotle burrito, which shockingly fit in the palm of their hand. "Thanks for the half size full price burrito you f***ing crooks," they captioned the photo. "Not happening again."

Compared the advertised photos of Chipotle burritos, @Shr3dDurst's burrito is truly alarming, especially considering they were charged full price for the meal. Burritos can range from $10-$16 at Chipotle, depending on what protein you add and any extra toppings like guacamole, and receiving a half-sized burrito for full price can be really disappointing.

Redditors Threaten To Boycott Chipotle

@Shr3dDurst's post went viral on Reddit, drawing over 4,000 upvotes and 500+ comments. "That's actually insane they can serve this," one person wrote.

"Yep, that's damn near the exact same photo I sent to Chipotle customer service after receiving a similar baseball burrito after ordering online," another person shared, "That was the straw that broke the camel's back, and I haven't eaten there in a few years."

"Cheapotle," another person wrote.

"Stop eating there!" another wrote. "So many better options."

"Dude what is that!?" a final user commented. "That is 100% a rip off. I am glad that I cut out Chipotle from my life. Tired of their BS."
