Chipotle Just Added The Most Insane Item To Its Menu--Customers Are Freaking Out!

Chipotle has a new menu item that it’s NEVER had before!

The Colorado-based Mexican Grill chain is adding it’s very first philanthropic collaboration–a bowl with Shawn Mendes–to menus. This is huge!

The company is following in the footsteps of McDonald’s by launching its first-ever limited-time celebrity partnership with the “Treat You Better” singer.

The company announced in a release on January 15th that the Shawn Mendes Bowl ($12.20) features the recently-launched Cilantro-Lime Cauliflower Rice plus chicken, black beans, roasted chili-corn salsa, romaine lettuce and guacamole to restaurants for a limited time.

But that's not all. Sales of the burrito bowl will go to the Shawn Mendes Foundation, which supports young leaders driving positive change.

One specific project it will fund is the Wonder Grants, which will be awarded in the coming weeks to young activists in the space of sustainability. Wow!

If you recall, Chipotle has become a champaign for sustainability efforts in recent years. They added an impact tracker to its website and app last year. The "Real Foodprint" tracker tells customers how their order impacts the environment and animal welfare.

"We are thrilled to partner with Shawn Mendes and use the power of our real food to back the next great innovations in sustainability," chief marketing officer Chris Brandt said in the release.

"Together with Shawn's team and our passionate fans, we continue to pursue our mission of cultivating a better world." Awesome!

The singer echoed that sentiment. "It is important to me to partner with a company that values sustainability—I'm excited to partner with Chipotle and appreciate their support for my Foundation and young changemakers who are leading the charge in these crucial efforts," Mendes said.

The collabo is now available to order on the chain's website and app.
