You Won’t Believe What Chris Cuomo Was Just Caught Doing—Things Are Getting Worse & Worse!

Chris Cuomo, longtime CNN reporter, has just been placed on indefinite suspension after providing aid to his brother, Andrew Cuomo, following his sexual harrassment allegations. While the 51-year-old news anchor was initially silent, he spoke out about the “embarrassing” situation on Wednesday, casting some light on the suspension.

Speaking candidly on his show Let’s Get After It With Chris Cuomo, he launched right into it saying, “Quick note about the obvious, I’ve been suspended from CNN. You know this already. It hurts to even say it.”

Cuomo continued, “It’s embarrassing, but I understand it. And I understand why some people feel the way they do about what I did. I’ve apologized in the past and I mean it. The last thing I ever wanted to do was compromise any of my colleagues and do anything but help.”

Following the news that Cuomo was placed on suspension, CNN released a statement with their spokesperson saying, “The New York Attorney General’s office released transcripts and exhibits Monday that shed new light on Chris Cuomo’s involvement in his brother’s defense. The documents, which we were not privy to before their public release, raise serious questions.”

The spokesperson also added, “These documents point to a greater level of involvement in his brother’s efforts than we previously knew. As a result, we have suspended Chris indefinitely, pending further evaluation.”

Governor Cuomo stepped down from his position in August after allegations of sexual harassment were levelled against him, and his brother, Chris had previously admitted to CNN that he had offered his brother advice, but concluded in his show that he would no longer be making comments on the situation at hand in order to respect CNN as they determine what steps to take next.
