Chris Pratt just opened up about that time he received major hate from the public after posting about about his wife and their “healthy daughter.”
According to Page Six, the Jurassic Park actor “reflected on the scandal in his July/August 2022 Men’s Health cover story” which was published on June 28, Tuesday.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with what went down online, in November 2021, the 43-year-old celebrity shared a photo of himself with his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger on Instagram. The caption says:
“Guys. For real. Look how she’s looking at me! I mean. Find you somebody that looks at you like that!! You know!? We met in church. She’s given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter, she chews so loudly that sometimes I put in my ear buds to drown it out, but that’s love! She helps me with everything. In return, periodically, I open a jar of pickles. That’s the trade.”
He continued, “Her heart is pure and it belongs to me. My greatest treasure right next to my Ken Griffey Jr Upper Deck Rookie card. Which if you know, you know is saying a lot. It’s her birthday in about 6 weeks. So if I don’t get her anything, I’ll tell her to look back on this post. Love you honey. ❤️❤️”

As soon as it was posted, the internet was quick to call out Pratt, especially the part where he mentioned “healthy daughter.” Page Six reports that “social media users subsequently slammed the Guardians Of The Galaxy star, alleging that his post was ‘a dig at his ex-wife,’ Anna Faris, since their 9-year-old son, Jack, was born premature.”
One user commented, “Very bad!! And your son???” while another one wrote, “Cringe.” There was even one follower who said, “Poor Anna & Son.”
Pratt told Men’s Health, “That is f–ked up. My son’s gonna read that one day. He’s 9. And it’s etched in digital stone. It really f–king bothered me, dude. I cried about it.”

However, there were also users who showed their support for Chris and emphasized that there was nothing wrong with his message.
“I don’t see anything saying anything bad about your son. Kids are a blessing regardless of anything. As long as you love your son as much as you love the rest of your family, you should be OK. Quit stressing what others think or what your son will think. I’m sure you are his hero just as much as he is yours!,” exclaimed one fan.
Another fan shared, “Chris I think you are an amazing man. Don’t let the haters get to you. STARLORD!”
