It’s no secret that celebrities like to enlist the help of a surgeon from time to time to change up their appearance – and that’s exactly what Chrissy Teigen has done. But unlike the majority of A-listers, the 35-year-old model and cookbook author hasn’t actually denied it. Instead, she was very forthcoming with the information about her latest cheek fat removal procedure, and told her followers exactly what she had done. She tagged the surgeon and everything!
“I did that Dr. Diamond buccal fat removal thing here,” Teigen said in a video which she posted to a recent Instagram Story, while pointing to her cheeks.
“And since I quit drinking, I’m really seeing the results, and I like it. Yeah, I did it, what?” she continued.
The Cravings cookbook author, who revealed she quit drinking in December last year, also tagged the doctor, Dr. Jason Diamond, and added the caption, “no shame in my dr diamond game”. For those who don’t know, Dr. Jason Diamond is a renowned facial plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, and stars in shows such as E!’s Dr. 90210 and Netflix’s Celebrity Plastic Surgeons. We can’t believe how much difference the procedure has made to her face!
This isn’t the first time John Legend’s wife has had work done – or the first time she has been open about it. The former Sports Illustrated model previously admitted to getting Botox in her armpits – a common procedure that a lot of A-listers have in order to control their sweating, particularly around awards season. No one wants sweat stains on a one-of-a-kind designer dress that has been loaned to you, right?
Teigen also freely admitted to having a breast augmentation at the beginning of her career, and then confessed that she had her implants removed in June 2020. And back in 2017, she even admitted to getting liposuction in her armpits, calling it one of the "dumbest" thing she had ever done, before adding that she actually had "no regrets" about it, as it made her feel more confident in her clothes. Good for you, Chrissy!
"I had an armpit sucked out, which was one of the best things. It’s a big secret, but I don’t care," she candidly said at the time.
"It made me feel better in dresses; I felt more confident. It was the dumbest, stupidest thing I’ve ever done. The dumbest, but I like it, whatever. I have no regrets, honestly."
Why can’t all the A-listers be more open about the work they’ve had done?
