Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are officially splitting up, but what does that mean for their couple friends? Kimye has always been close with Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, and it looks like that relationship won’t be changing. During a recent interview, Teigen was able to offer the inside scoop on Kim and Kanye’s divorce, reassuring fans that Kim is “doing okay.”

During an episode of Watch What Happens Live, Teigen explained that Kim "gave her all" in the relationship, but it was ultimately not enough.
"Kim is doing okay. I know Kim gave her all for everything," she said on the show. "It's honestly a shame that it didn't work out because I saw them being a forever relationship."
"I really did, but I know she tried her best," she added.
As for her and John's relationship with the recently-split couple, Chrissy says that she is still in contact with Kim. Kanye, however, has been more difficult to reach.
"I will say I have definitely been in touch with Kim more than John has been in touch with Kanye," she said.
Teigen joked, "If anyone knows Kanye, it's that he goes off the grid and it's hard to ever contact him."

By keeping the focus on the well-being of their children, Kim and Kanye have managed to keep things amicable. "Kim and Kanye are getting along," the insider explained. "They have both stayed true to their commitment to make the best situation for the kids."
"Kim is very happy that they have managed to keep things calm. She thinks Kanye is a good dad," the source added. "She wants him to be able to spend as much time with the kids as he wants."
