Cindy Crawford may be used to being in the spotlight, but she still has to adjust to having her children in the public eye.
Crawford, who is mom to young models 19-year-old Presley and 17-year-old Kaia Gerber, revealed that she has a hard time dealing with the trolls that flood her children's' social media comments.
“I can’t believe how hateful people can be,” Crawford said in an interview with PorterEdit.
“As much as people put garbage on my Instagram, it doesn’t bother me. But when they do it to my kids I think, grrr. But you’re not supposed to go after [the haters]. It’s shocking," she continued.
The supermodel said that she still has a tough time navigating through social media norms and expectations, but tries to teach her children to approach it with grace and mindfulness.
“We’re becoming more immune to it because people just lash out. We have to be so politically correct in one way. If you’re not famous, you can say the most hateful stuff. God forbid you [as a celebrity] offend the wrong person," she added.
