We guess that some of our favorite actors really *are* good at their jobs, because we would never have guessed that two people with such great chemistry on-screen would actually hate each other when the cameras stopped rolling! A lot of Hollywood has us fooled!

Charlize Theron and Tobey Maguire are a great example of two celebs who “had issues,” shall we say, while filming, yet the audience had *no* idea! In an interview for V Magazine, Charlize Theron said that she and Tobey Maguire “had a bit of a rough time,” while filming Lasse Hallström’s coming-of-age drama, The Cider House Rules. “Whether it’s the weather, or the writing isn’t there, or you don’t get along with your castmate, you have to be able to go to something else that’s just as powerful,” Charlize said at the time. “Does it make it as enjoyable? Probably not. I mean, there were just a couple of days that Tobey and I had a rough time.” However, it’s important to note that Charlize insisted that bygones are bygones, and added, “I mean, we’re good now. It was a difficult movie.” Phew!

However, not all celebrity feuds have a happy ending! Take a look at a few more co-stars who secretly hated each other while working together, yet the audience probably had no idea when watching them on screen…

Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams

Despite portraying one of our favorite on-screen couples of all time, Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams famously didn’t see eye to eye on the set of The Notebook. But we guess it’s true what they say about there being a very fine line between love and hate, as the actors actually went on to date in real life after filming!

Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan

There have been rumors about the two actors not seeing eye to eye while filming the steamy Fifty Shades of Grey movies, which is a little awkward considering some of the scenes they had to film together. However, Dakota and Jamie have denied that there is any truth in the rumors every time they have been asked; so we guess we'll never know for sure!

Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze

This might be the most heart-breaking one of all! They had a lot of on-screen chemistry, but perhaps Patrick Swayze *did* want to put Baby in the corner, as he and Grey didn’t see eye to eye when filming Dirty Dancing. We always try and forget that we know this information when watching the movie though!

Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes

They played possibly the most famous lovers in existence in Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet back in 1996, but it was an entirely different story when the cameras stopped rolling. In fact, it's been reported that Danes purposely tried to avoid the Oscar-winning actor at all costs, as she reportedly found him to be very "immature." We assume that had something to do with his rumored on-set jokes and pranks!

Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker

Okay, this one's a little less of a secret, as it's pretty common knowledge that SJP and Kim Cattrall have been publicly feuding with each other for years. There are several things the ladies, who play besties Carrie Bradshaw and Samantha Jones in Sex and the City, have supposedly disagreed on over the years, one of which being their salaries after Kim found out SJP was paid more than any other cast member after she was given an executive producer title in the show's second season. And things just kept getting worse ever since…

Anne Hathaway and James Franco

James Franco's grievances with the Oscar-winning Les Miserables actress didn’t actually happen on a film set, but rather, while preparing to host the 2011 Academy Awards. If we are to believe the various reports, rumor has it that Franco was less than happy that Hathaway allegedly gave him performance notes during rehearsals, and Franco allegedly said, "Don't tell me how to be funny."

Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre and Selma Blair

Is there anyone Charlie Sheen *hasn’t* argued with? As well as disagreeing with Chuck Lorre on Two and a Half Men, which was allegedly the reason his character was killed off the show and he was replaced by Ashton Kutcher, Sheen also disagreed with Selma Blair on his new show, Anger Management, and asked for her character to be written off the show in retaliation!

Bill Murray and Lucy Liu

They have now reportedly put their differences aside and put everything behind them, but things were very different when Bill Murray and Lucy Liu were filming Charlie's Angels together. One of their infamous rumored disagreements allegedly occurred when Murray told Liu that she couldn't act, and she responded with "physical punches," according to the rumors. We're glad to hear that they have now patched things up!
