Coffee lovers, be on high alert! Danone Wave has announced a recall of specific International Delight coffee creamers following reports of spoilage and subsequent illnesses. This recall began on February 21st, and was later designated as a “Class II” recall by the FDA on March 12th.

A “Class II” recall indicates that the product might lead to “temporary” or “reversible” health issues. The recall affects over 12,500 cases of two varieties of International Delight coffee creamers distributed across 31 states.

The varieties under this recall include certain bottles of International Delight Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll coffee creamer and International Delight Hazelnut coffee creamer.

If you have purchased International Delight creamers, check the bottles for the following details to see if they are part of the recall: The 32-ounce Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll Creamer should have the UPC code 0 41271 01993 3, a Best-By Date of July 3, 2025, and the Plant Code 51-4114 R-S.

Similarly, the 32-ounce Hazelnut Creamer should have the UPC code 0 41271 02565 2, the same Best-By Date of July 3, 2025, and the Plant Code 51-4114 R-S.

These items were distributed across a wide range of states including Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

It’s important to note that no other products from International Delight are affected by this recall. Danone recalled its creamers as a precaution after discovering they spoiled early and had texture problems, according to SpartanNash on February 24th.

The FDA later reported that some people fell ill after using the spoiled creamers, which led to the recall. If you have the affected International Delight creamers, do not consume them. Instead, dispose of them or return them for a refund or exchange.

Contact your healthcare provider with any health concerns. For more information about the recall, call International Delight at 1-800-441-3321.
