Martha Stewart, often celebrated by fans for her ageless, timeless, and radiant beauty at 82, recently divulged her secrets to a youthful glow and radiant complexion on her self-titled podcast. With a combination of Botox, filler, and laser treatments, the crafty television personality said that this trio is how she maintains an anti-aging routine.
This month, a leading cosmetic physician, Dr. Jen Armstrong, speculated in an Instagram video on the techniques that Stewart may have employed to retain her glowing appearance, offering fans advice on how to emulate the businesswoman’s age-defying look.

Although Stewart has refuted undergoing plastic surgery, Armstrong has some doubts and believes that she may have made some subtle alterations to combat the effects of aging. Upon examining comparison photos of the lifestyle guru, Armstrong noted that Stewart's brows were notably "much lower" in the past.
"This could be from either a thread brow lift or this could be from an actual surgical brow lift," the expert shared. Armstrong pondered whether Stewart had ever undergone rhinoplasty but acknowledged that it was "hard to tell" with certainty.
The doctor also expressed her suspicion that Stewart may have undergone lip fillers in order to enhance her coveted pout. The aesthetics expert's focus then shifted towards Stewart's neck, with its undeniably youthful appearance catching her attention.
"I think the most shocking part, in a good way, is that in the before picture you see this jowl here and all the neck skin," the doctor said, gesturing towards Stewart's neck and jawline. "In her after picture her face looks completely pulled back and snatched," she added.
"'Let me tell you - if Botox could do this they'd be the richest company in the history of time," Armstrong quipped before explaining that a thread brow lift, undereye filler, lip fillers, and a thread lift for the lower face could all be procedures for common folk to consider. 'This is not how people age with just some Botox - she's clearly had some cosmetic work done," the expert went on.
Back in February, Stewart sat down with her trusted cosmetic dermatologist, Dr. Dan Belkin, on her iHeartPodcast, giving fans a glimpse into her skincare regimen and cosmetic procedures.
Stewart (who has made countless headlines with her captivating self-portraits), shared details about her partnership with Belkin spanning five years, during which he divulged her Botox regimen and preferred dermal fillers.
The podcast description alluded to the inquiries directed towards Stewart regarding the maintenance of her facial health, youthfulness, and radiance in cover shoots and selfies. "'Everyone is so interested when they see a selfie of me posted on the internet," Stewart told the doctor. Her regular posting of mirror pics and thirst traps has garnered an Instagram following of two million fans, often resulting in viral success.
"So many comments are about my facelift and who did it, when did I have it done, how much retouching is on the photograph, and I just want to set the record straight," the mom of two went on.

Stewart then praised Belkin's work, stressing that "because you have to be an expert, but if you can't look at me and see that one little thing is more crooked on one side than the other side, then I don't want to work with you."
She continued, dishing to Belkin: "I have a very strict artistic eye, and I can see defects [...] I want my doctor to see the defect also. And you do. You're one of those guys that can really see a defect and fix it." Belkin then explained that he tries "to reduce downward pull on the face" when it comes to Botox injections.
During the experimentation of Botox on Stewart's upper face, she noted that it appeared unnatural due to the lack of lines on her forehead.

For Stewart, Belkin noted that he uses Botox in her "jawline and on the neck so that we can reduce the banding and reduce the downward pull on the face to keep those muscles a little weaker so the muscles of the cheek can pull up more."
On the podcast, Belkin added that the "other thing" that he helps Stewart with is "filler," but he emphasized that he uses it sparingly and "conservatively." Belkin continued: "And for [Stewart], I elect to use fillers that are what we call biostimulatory fillers."

The expert also shared that he uses Sculptra and Radiesse, "made of lactic acid and calcium" and have "been shown to stimulate collagen." Additionally, Stewart attributed her toned physique to pilates.
In addition to laser treatments, Belkin has also performed skin tightening on Stewart using Ultherapy with an ultrasound based device.
According to Belkin, the most significant error he observes is when individuals undergo procedures and are left feeling unsatisfied "because they are going to somebody who didn't try to figure out what is the best thing for them."
