That's right: Costco is now offering a huge peanut butter chocolate pie for $19.99. An Instagram account dedicated to sharing the latest and greatest Costco items, @costcohotfinds, alerted followers about this tasty new addition on March 12. She also shared a video of herself tasting the pie. Spoiler alert: it got a rave review.
"PeANuT BuTteR PiE at Costco!!! This is brand new and to say this is my dream is reality!!! I have always loved peanut butter pie. This one is PERFECT!" she wrote. "It has a light chocolate mousse on top of the peanut butter filling and a graham cracker crust. It’s 4.5 lbs!!!" Sounds like heaven for anyone who loves a good Reese's cup.

In the video, the woman behind @costcohotfinds, Laura Lamb, can hardly contain her excitement. "The Costco bakery just brought out a peanut butter chocolate cream pie for the first time ever and I am screaming," she says. "Peanut butter pie is my all-time favorite."
She goes on to confirm that the pie is "huge," with "a buttery graham cracker crust." Additionally, "the center is the perfect peanut butter-chocolate mousse combo." Yum! We're not surprised that she deemed this treat as "dangerously delicious."
Unfortunately, shortly after lamb posted about the new bakery item, it started selling out across Costco locations. Many people have been unable to find it at their local store. Of course, this likely has something to do with the fact that Pi Day was on March 14, so it's no wonder people wanted to stock up.
"Sold out everywhere bc of this video…you’ve made my local news and people are frantic buying them out," one user commented on the Instagram post. It's safe to say that people can't get enough—if they can get any at all.
Our fingers are crossed that this pie, which you can find in the bakery section of Costco, is here to stay. And if it's only around for a limited time, we'll certainly be keeping our eyes peeled for the return.
