One of the company's new preventative measures is not allowing more than two people to enter the warehouse with each membership card.
The press release explains, "This temporary change is for your safety and the safety of our employees and other members, and to further assist with our social distancing efforts. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding."
Costco also made changes to their store hours; their warehouses will now close at 6:30 PM Monday through Friday.
To help their customers shop safely, Costco is also still honoring their senior hour from 8 to 9 AM Tuesday through Thursday for members 60 years or older and those with physical impairments.
With these measures, Costco is aiming to take care of their community's needs while keeping them as safe and healthy as possible.
