Costco Shoppers Are Calling This New Snack ‘Excellent’: ‘Lots Of Protein’

Costco has the best of a lot of things—best prices, best sales, and best snacks! The newest snack that shoppers are obsessed with? The Light & Crispy Fried Calamari Snack. Produced by a  Korean brand, fans are loving the snack because it not only provides that perfect crispy, salty crunch, but it’s also packed with protein—one serving size sports 8 grams of protein!

Shoppers took to Reddit to share their satisfaction with the snack and to encourage other Costco members to give it a try. But customers better get their hands on a bag while they can, as some people are already reporting that their stores have sold out.

The Light & Crispy Fried Calamari is 100% calamari coated with a frying mix and deep fried, according to the bag. They’re best heated in an air fryer or microwave, and can be served with ketchup, marinara sauce, or with a squeeze of lemon juice on top.

The calamari is cut into thin strips that’s been dried and covered in a thin layer of batter before being dunked in a deep fryer. It stays crunchy in the air tight bag, and doesn’t taste stale after opening.
