Customers Are So Mad: Costco Just Announced A Shocking Shortage

Stockpiling cleaning essentials like paper towel and bleach wipes isn’t quite at the fever pitch it was back in March, but the lingering effects of Covid-19 hoarding remain.
Cast in point: Costco customers just spotted a sign at one of the warehouse locations that indicates the company has “reduced the number of sheets per roll [of their paper towels] from 160 to 140” in an effort to avoid supply shortages. Wow!

As reported by SheKnows, Instagram user @CostcoAndCouponing posted a sign at their local Costco location that read of the brand’s owned Kirkland Signature Paper Towels, “Due to industry-wide demand for paper towels, we have reduced the number of sheets per roll from 160 to 140 in order to provide better supply to our members.” This is huge!
Yes, you read that right: Costco is making a big change to its cult Kirkland brand paper products due to an increase in demand.
